Job description:

We are looking for prep cooks and dishwashers for our client in Stouffville area.

Our ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced workplace and have a willingness to learn.

This is a full time position. Must have your own transportation as there is no transit access.

Job Duties:
Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy
Create meals according to plan.
Prepares foods to the specifications of the client.
Prepares food before the arrival of guests.
Assist in the dishwashing area when required
Makes adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns.
Seasons food according to recipes or company needs
Operates various kitchen appliances.
Portions, arranges, and garnishes food based on client preference.
Assists other cooks during the food assembly process.
Estimates expected food consumption and organize preparation
Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins

Requirements:
Speak English,



Read English, Write English
1+ years’ experience as a prep cook in a full-service setting
Previous experience working in a resort an asset
Must be flexible in shift timings
Must be willing and able to work weekends
Maintain a professional appearance at all times
Strong communication skills
Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards
Excellent attention to detail and well developed organizational skills
Solid work ethic with an ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
