Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)

Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma

Foreign trained healthcare qualified – Nurse

Requirements

A valid driver’s license and vehicle for work use.

Meet immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus and Covid.

Current vulnerable sector check (VSC).

Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid.

Availability to work days or evenings and every other weekend.

Physical capability to lift up to approximately 55 pounds, walk, climb stairs, stand, bend, reach and perform frequent movement.

The hiring pay range is $21.70 – $24.20 per hour, based on experience.
