We are recruiting an experienced Systems Controls Engineer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Providing strategic and technical leadership in the area of developing propulsion controls strategies
Responsible for both individual technical project deliverables, coordinating activities and bringing projects to successful conclusions
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Applied Physics, or any other relevant STEM oriented degree from an accredited university
5 years of total experience in conventional and electrified propulsion system controls/calibration development
Experience in both propulsion system control development and/or calibration is desired
Demonstrated ability in control algorithm development methods
Demonstrated potential to teach, lead and inspire
Experienced in control state of the art technologies, including but not limited to the areas of electrified powertrains, conventional engines, and transmissions,
Experience in system and control design, calibration, and testing




Effective experienced based or analytical problem solving ability
Demonstrated technical leadership on propulsion system control strategy development projects
Outstanding interpersonal skills and teamwork
Must be a solid team player, systems focused with interdisciplinary experience & expertise, and willing to work in fast paced environment
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $32.00 - $36.00/ hour (depending on experience)
Paid Benefits after 90 days (individual and family) – extended medical, out-of-country coverage, dental etc.
Pension eligibility, with employer match, after 1 full year of work
