Overview Sheet Metal Workers (Apprentice and Journeyman) – Brighter Staffing Agency is seeking experienced Sheet Metal Workers, both Apprentices and Journeymen, to join our team in Langley, BC. Location: Langley, BC, Canada. Permanent position.

Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical drawings
Measure and mark sheet metal according to specifications
Cut, shape, and bend metal sheets using hand and power tools
Assemble and install sheet metal products and equipment, including ductwork, roofing, siding, and ventilation systems
Seal joints and seams using solder, welding, and other methods
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment for defects and malfunctions
Maintain a safe and clean work setting
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors as needed
Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices as required
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent




Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience for Journeymen
Previous experience in sheet metal work, preferably in the construction industry
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Proficient in using hand and power tools
Knowledge of different types of sheet metal and their uses
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
