AgeCare is looking for a dedicated Recreation Worker to enhance residents' lives through creative leisure pursuits. This role includes planning, implementing, and evaluating recreation and leisure activities for seniors, both in-house and in the community. Successful candidates will foster relationships with residents, families, and community groups while supporting their well-being and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement daily recreation activities for residents
• Create engaging environments that support participation




• Communicate effectively with residents and their families
• Observe and document changes in residents’ abilities
• Collaborate with all departments to enhance resident engagement

Requirements:
• Experience working with seniors in long-term care
• Degree or diploma in recreation or therapeutic recreation
• Knowledge of planning and facilitating wellness activities
• Skills in assessment and care planning
• Dedicated to engaging residents in meaningful ways
