Job Description We are currently seeking a skilled Purchasing and Inventory Control Worker to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and procurement processes. This role ensures the efficient and timely acquisition of goods while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely stock replenishment
Place purchase orders with approved vendors; negotiate pricing and terms
Maintain accurate records of purchases and stock levels
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and complete deliveries
Foster relationships with vendors to ensure product quality and cost-effectiveness
Analyze inventory reports and recommend solutions for potential issues




Partner with other departments to forecast inventory needs
Develop and implement inventory control procedures for improved efficiency
Track shipments and resolve delivery issues as needed
Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to guide purchasing decisions
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing and inventory control
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and inventory management
Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
