Description

As a Yard Associate, you will need to maintain the highest standards of safety, service and merchandising. The job can be quite physical and involves standing, walking and lifting. You will need to learn about our products and policies, and seek assistance when asked a question that you are unable to answer, or if you need help lifting a heavy item. Requires week day, evening and weekend availability to work.

Responsibilities
Provide welcoming, attentive customer service — greet customers, answer questions, help them find what they need, and support them through the checkout and delivery‑arrangement process.
Maintain strong in‑store standards — support inventory counts, restock shelves, and ensure merchandise is clean, organized, and easy for customers to access.
Learn about recent products and participate in department training to better support customers on the floor.




Work safely by following all workplace safety procedures and maintaining a hazard‑free workplace.
Assist with preparing basic paperwork, including invoices and delivery documentation.
Use the store’s computer system to keep inventory accurate when receiving current products or removing items due to damage or loss.

Qualifications
Excellent communication and team player
Sales and customer service experience an asset
Possess a high level of attention to details
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Ability to work days/evening/weekends (rotating shifts)
Ability to learn and operate the applicable computer system (D365) used to process orders
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent considered an asset
Bilingual – French / English is considered an asset
