VOLUNTEER PLACEMENT IN PLASP AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

PLASP Child Care Services is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing high quality early learning and child care, for children up to 12 years of age.

The Position Requires
You are a current Secondary School student
You respect and enjoy interacting with children
You are caring and energetic and work well with others
You are versatile and willing to learn
You show initiative by helping without being asked
You are fully engaged with the children and program staff

Key Responsibilities
Always take direction from program staff and get familiar with program rules
Help program staff with the children
Act as a mentor, leader, and a role model
Talk to and play with all the children
Participate in all aspects of the program inside/outside
Ask the program staff questions if you are unsure of what to do/or say
