Job Description
The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility’s KPIs.

Job Details

Term of Employment: Permanent Position, 32 hours per week

Location: Sudbury, Ontario (Primary: 2083 Armstrong St, Sudbury, ON P3E 4W2; Secondary: 279 Regent St S, Sudbury, ON P3C 4C6)

Responsibilities

Create damage/cost estimates in Audatex and Mitchell estimating systems following the latest guidelines and OEM repair procedures

Ensure pertinent details from damage/cost estimate and every customer interaction are recorded accurately and efficiently

Provide customers with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring they receive excellent customer service and estimates for the costs/times of the vehicle repair

Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics





Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery

Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members

Provide positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone

Maintain up-to-date understanding of all required insurance programs and procedures

Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team, as required

Support all team members when required

Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meeting (if required)

Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager

Maintain the Assured KPI’s by maximizing role performance (Sales/ GP/ EBITA/ BHPD/ NPS, Return Rate, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Working knowledge of vehicle repair practices and Original Equipment guidelines

Strong knowledge of Google platform and Microsoft Office

Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy

Ability to multitask and effectively manage a fast-paced setting

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic Computer SkillsMinimum 1-year experience producing collision repair estimates (required for compliance with Direct Repair Program); 2-3 years of relevant automotive experience is preferred
