We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our soil, mulch, and aggregate bulk supply business. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, practical yard experience, and a customer-focused mindset.

Location : 340 Regional Road 20, Hannon.

Employment Type : Ridge Soils.

Pay : $27/hr to $30/hr

Vacancy : 1.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Manager with daily operations of the yard and retail counter.

Supervise staff and coordinate workloads.

Provide excellent customer service and product advice.

Manage stock levels, deliveries, and supplier coordination.

Operate and oversee loading products.

Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.

Handle cash, invoicing,



and basic administrative tasks.

Step in as Acting Manager when required.

Requirements:

Previous experience in landscaping supplies, quarry, hardware, or bulk materials preferred.

Solid organizational and leadership skills.

Comfortable working outdoors in a hands-on environment.

Confident communicating with customers and staff.

Basic computer and point-of-sale skills.

Loader operator (or willingness to obtain).
