In this Cook role, you’re entrusted with preparing nutritious meals and leading kitchen operations in our Long-Term Care residence. Responsibilities include adhering to dietary orders, overseeing Food Services Workers, and addressing resident concerns. Your expertise is vital in creating a person-centered dining experience that contributes to residents' overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals that meet dietary needs
• Maintain safe and sanitary kitchen practices
• Check special diet orders for new admissions thoroughly




• Direct Food Services Workers in daily responsibilities
• Handle and resolve resident feedback effectively

Requirements:
• Previous Cook experience, ideally in a supervisory capacity
• Must possess a valid Safe Food Handling Certificate
• Basic education required; high school preferred
• Diploma or certification in food preparation and production
• Experience managing food services in a care workplace
