Become an Environmental Field Technician at Thurber in Oakville or Pickering, Ontario. Your role involves substantial field engagement and groundwater monitoring to aid project completion.

In this position, you will carry out environmental fieldwork primarily in the GTA area. Duties include managing borehole drilling, monitoring well installations, and executing groundwater sampling programs. You will also assist project managers with reports and online research during non-field periods. Training will be provided regardless of previous experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee site investigations and borehole drilling efforts
• Manage installation and development of groundwater monitoring wells
• Conduct monitoring and sampling of groundwater




• Assist with creating environmental reports and figures
• Liaise with engineers and site representatives during projects

Requirements:
• Diploma in Environmental, Geological or Civil Technology
• Valid Class G Driver’s Licence with an excellent record
• Ability to function independently and collaboratively
• Flexibility to travel to remote locations
• Willingness to pursue a Well Technician Licence
