Skills And Qualifications Required Current, unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Practical Nurse
Must have recent experience in an acute psychiatric setting.
Must have current CPR certification
Position Responsibilities Completing a nursing history based on information received from the patient, family and other sources.




Developing and recording a goal oriented nursing care plan focused on immediate needs in collaboration with the patient.
Performing interventions for which he/she can manage the outcomes or has resources to manage the outcomes.
Accurately following the prescribed medical regime
Re-assessing the plan in terms of goals set.
Recognizes unusual patient responses and consults with others as required.
Revising nursing care plan based on evaluation using professional judgment
