Utilize your maintenance expertise as a Part-Time Maintenance Lead at the John W. Lindsay YMCA, working weekends to enhance member experience. Ensure facilities are safe and well-maintained for everyone.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role includes maintaining YMCA facilities across HRM. You will be responsible for all aspects of safety, including pool maintenance, supply management, and HVAC system operations. Collaboration with the Facility Services team will be essential for creating a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Uphold facility maintenance standards for YMCA operations
• Ensure pools and saunas operate safely and efficiently
• Oversee inventory for cleaning and maintenance supplies




• Manage HVAC systems adjustments as needed
• Assist with cleaning and recreational equipment setups

Requirements:
• 1-3 years’ experience in building maintenance
• Preferred certifications in HVAC, Electrical, or Pool Operations
• Strong understanding of WHMIS regulations
• Mechanical aptitude for fitness equipment repairs
• Willingness to work flexible schedule
