WELL Health Diagnostic Centres is looking for a skilled Call Centre Medical Office Assistant who will be responsible for the first impression when patients call our clinics and are expected to provide exemplary service.

Job Description: Call Centre Medical Office Assistant
Reporting to:
Clinic Leader / Regional Director

Responsibilities:

Interact with patients, hospitals, and physician offices by telephone and email professionally, further to direction received by the supervisor.

Review and address incoming fax requests from referring physicians.

Strategically schedule and reschedule with the goal of optimizing efficiency and reducing patient wait time.

Effectively adhere to and adapt to changing policies and procedures, and ensure the messaging is reinforced with the team.

Address and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner, if requested to do so by the supervisor.





Prepare/ organize reports or statistics, as required.

Perform other relevant duties as needed by supervisor.

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

0-2 years of related experience.

Diploma in Medical Office Administration or related field.

Minimum typing speed of 35wpm.

Good command of the English language, excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are required.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Adherence to PHIPA.

A strong ability to multi-task.

Maintain competence in position by attending staff meetings.

CPR & First Aid Certification is encouraged.

Staffing:
Maintain and adjust to staffing rotation pattern as directed by manager or delegate.

Have a cheerful, positive attitude and the ability to work effectively with others as well as the ability to workindependently and treat everyone with respect, dignity, and kindness.
