Become a vital part of Magna's tooling team as a Toolmaker in Ontario. This role requires hands-on experience in precision tool preparation and maintenance to meet automotive production goals.

As a Toolmaker, you'll focus on the maintenance of tooling, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and cleanliness are prioritized for production readiness. Your duties will also include assisting with engineering changes and testing tools to confirm operational standards. This position supports continuous improvement initiatives to advance manufacturing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and repair of existing tooling
• Troubleshoot and resolve tooling production issues
• Clean and ensure operational safety of all tools




• Test and set up tools for first-time try-outs
• Collaborate on and support engineering change initiatives

Requirements:
• Certified Ontario C of Q Toolmaker
• 5 years of experience in a stamping setting
• Expertise in CNC operations and welding techniques
• Strong capability in root cause analysis
• Familiarity with GD&T; and quality control practices
