This position reports to the General Superintendent and is based in the Kamloops, BC area, with travel to project sites as required.About the RoleThe Civil Construction Foreman / Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising day-to-day site activities to support the safe, efficient, and successful execution of civil construction projects. This role works closely with the General Superintendent, Project Team, subcontractors, operators, labour crews, and other stakeholders to ensure construction activities are completed on time, on budget, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.The ideal candidate has previous experience supervising and directing site works on civil projects or subdivisions, with a proven ability to lead construction teams to successful project completion while building a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.At Infracon, Safety. You understand how to coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to keep work moving efficiently while maintaining high standards for safety, productivity, and quality.You are proactive, organized, and confident interpreting construction plans and scopes of work.



You set clear expectations, hold your team accountable, and support employees through mentorship, training, and feedback. You take pride in fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment and representing the company professionally with clients, partners, and all project stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesBe a courageous safety leader by adhering to and promoting safety and environmental rules, procedures, and company standardsLead, coordinate, and supervise day‑to‑day site work activities on civil construction projectsReview construction drawings, project plans, and scopes of work, and collaborate closely with the project team to execute work effectivelyEnsure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements, schedules, and budgetsPromote and enforce all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, and inspectionsProvide clear expectations to crews regarding safety, productivity, schedule, and quality performanceCoordinate labour, equipment, materials, and subcontractor resources to support project successIdentify and resolve inefficiencies, field issues, and operational challenges in collaboration with the Project TeamWork proactively and implement operational improvements where needed to improve performance and efficiencyLead and empower employees to achieve project goals through mentorship, training, and ongoing feedbackFoster an inclusive, respectful, and team-oriented work environmentCoordinate with other site team members to ensure shift deliverables and project milestones are achievedMaintain accurate and complete equipment logs, shift logs, inspections, daily field records, and other required documentationOversee the care and proper use of company vehicles, equipment, tools, and rental items on siteRepresent Infracon, its clients,



and project stakeholders in a qualified and courteous mannerParticipate in and provide practical knowledge and expertise to support the success of the team and projectSupport other duties and responsibilities as required to contribute to the success of the company and its projectsExperience RequiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the civil construction industryProven experience supervising and directing site works on civil projects, subdivisions, or similar construction environmentsStrong understanding of civil construction practices, sequencing, and field coordinationPreference will be given to candidates with experience in underground utility installation, roadworks, and municipal constructionExperience usingHeavyJobis considered an assetExperience operating a variety of heavy equipment is considered an assetValid Class 5 driver's licence required; Class 1 driver's licenceis considered an assetMust be eligible to work in CanadaSkills & AttributesDemonstrated commitment to being a strong and accountable safety leaderStrong leadership, communication, and team‑building skillsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentStrong organizational and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced field settingAbility to interpret construction drawings, project specifications, and work plansProactive, solution‑oriented, and dependable approach to workAbility to motivate crews and maintain a strong culture of accountability and performanceProfessional, respectful, and courteous in dealing with employees, clients, and stakeholdersSafety RequirementsWorker must supply basic PPE including boots, hi‑visibility vest, hardhat, and safety glasses.Infracon will provide any specialized PPE required for the role.Drug and alcohol testing may be required in accordance with company or project requirements.Safety certifications such as First Aid, CSTS, H2S, or similar are considered assets.Must participate fully in all required safety meetings, hazard assessments, inspections, and safe work planning activities.Work Environment & Physical DemandsThis position is primarily site‑based and works outdoors the majority of the time.
