Nut & Bolt Group is a one-stop shop for fastener and industrial supply needs. We are seeking a part time Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Wetaskiwin location.
Working Conditions
Warehouse: indoor and climate controlled workplace
Approximately 30 hours per week
NO WEEKENDS! Our store hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5 pm
Moderate computer use, prolonged hours standing, repetitive movements
Duties & Responsibilities
Pick and assemble customer orders, wrap skids as required
Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking; ensuring accuracy in each stage of the order process
Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
Operate forklifts, hand trucks or other materials-handling equipment proficiently and safely (training available)
Unpack and store goods in the correct areas ensuring goods are labeled correctly
Maintain organization within the warehouse to optimize workflow and safety standards
Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all operations involving heavy lifting or equipment use
Qualifications
High school diploma; previous warehouse experience is an asset
Class 5 Driver's License is an asset
Excellent time management, problem solving, multitasking and communication skills
Able to work under pressure within tight timelines
Accuracy and attention to detail
Transparent Criminal Record Check (completed at time of offer)
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. We are unable to offer sponsorship at this time.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
