Please Note: This is 6-Month Contract Position
McCormick Canada,a global leader in the spice, flavor, and seasonings industry, is seeking a full-time Sales Operations Specialist for a 6-month contract.The Sales Operations Specialist will report to the Sales Operations Manager on the North American Flavor Team.
This position will play a key role in supporting the NA Flavor Organization by performing value-added tasks specific to the Commercial function, including creating open order reports and support other adhoc responsibilities to enhance Sales Operations. This position will work collaboratively with cross functional teams across North America including Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, R&D;, Pricing and more to help support the customer as our #1 priority.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of order management, project management, flexibility, high levels of communication and the ability to create sustainable and long-lasting internal relationships.
Responsibilities
Generate documents/ reports utilizing standard operating procedures.
Assist with various communications to Customers, as needed
Assist in the development of SOPs as necessary, which may include process mapping and gap identification.
Other duties as assigned
Support management of House / Value accounts
Some travel may be required (up to 20% of time)
Qualifications
University degree in business or a related field
Minimum 1+ years general business and/or customer management experience required with a preference for relevant business area such as Sales Operations, Customer Service, Project Management, or related field
Proven track record of building relationships & working effectively in a team-based organization, collaborating x-functionally, and building alignment around goals and objectives
Strong Analytical & Organizations Skills to turn data into information
Preferred Skills
Detail-oriented with high-energy, and excellent organizational skills
Great Communicator & listener
Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time & work with cross functional teams
Problem solving while working within established processes and timelines
Microsoft Office Excel skills
