Take the lead as a Leadership Volunteer for an impactful cancer fundraising event. Collaborate with others to organize the Canadian Cancer Society’s Run for the Cure, a significant community event.

This leadership position involves a six-month commitment in planning the Kamloops event. You will work closely with a team of volunteers while fulfilling responsibilities mainly from home. Knowledge in the relevant roles will be beneficial for effective planning and execution of the event.

Key Responsibilities:
• Help organize and lead planning meetings
• Attend committee discussions on a regular basis
• Conduct most work independently from home
• Prepare for participation in the event weekend
• Foster community engagement and support

Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Knowledge/experience in relevant areas preferred
• Commitment to a six-month volunteer term
• Availability for in-person meetings
• English or French application process based on location
