Newcomer Women’s Services is hiring an Employment Counselor in Toronto. Engage with job seekers to create a knowledgeable and inclusive atmosphere while addressing employment barriers faced by newcomer women.

This full-time role requires a committed, detail-oriented counselor who can manage a significant caseload while providing one-on-one coaching, developing individualized action plans, and conducting eligibility assessments. You will also facilitate workshops and connect clients with valuable community resources to support their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure completion of all intake documentation
• Develop tailored employment plans for clients
• Conduct job readiness workshops and career testing




• Manage accurate client records through CRM systems
• Foster relationships with employers for job opportunities

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in relevant fields or 5 years of experience
• At least 3 years of case management/mentoring experience
• In-depth knowledge of employment barriers and resources
• Strong digital and social media literacy
• Adherence to professional conduct codes
