Retail Store Department Head 62010
Responsibilities include:

Supervise and coordinate activities of workers

Hire, train, or arrange training for staff

Order merchandise

Establish work schedules

Sell merchandise

Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages

Organize and maintain inventory

Support for youths:

Offer on‑the‑job training tailored to youth

Provide mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth

Offer awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth

Supervision: Retail salespersons and sales clerks

Work site environment: First Nations settlements

Work setting: Rural area, remote location, willing to relocate, no fly‑in/fly‑out, no rotational arrangements, supermarket/grocery store

Work must be completed at the physical location. No option to work remotely.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Wage: $46,000.00 per year
