OPEN COMPETITON The Lac La Ronge Indian Band, Lands and Resources Department is inviting applications for the following term (8 Months) position:
Lands & Resources Administrative Assistant Duties: Record and transcribe minutes for meetings with Lands and Resource Committee meetings;
Organizing and assisting meetings, arranging travel and accommodations;
Photocopy/prepare relevant Committee Material and update binders;
Answer/redirect all in-coming calls;
Update work plan as activities are completed
Receive/distribute in-coming/out-going correspondence;
Clerical duties including: taking meeting minutes, faxing, filing and office management;
Tracking supplies and maintenance of office equipment;
Additional duties as assigned by the Lands & Resources Coordinator.
Qualifications: Must have Grade 12 diploma
A Certificate in Office Administration
A combination of qualifications and experience may be considered
Proficient computer skills; Word, Excel and Outlook
Research and computer skills
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract, Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening
Knowledge of the Woodland Cree Culture, traditions and language
Ability to travel
