Advance child welfare initiatives as a Skilled Social Worker focusing on protecting families in Halifax and the surrounding areas. Your role will encompass safety assessments, support planning, and community engagement.
This impactful position requires you to assess risks, advocate for children and families, and develop comprehensive case plans. You will work as part of a dedicated team addressing child protection and participate in evaluations and court testimonies. Expect involvement with the Provincial After-Hours Response Team, requiring flexibility and travel.

Requirements:
• Master’s in Social Work or relevant Bachelor’s degree with experience
• Valid driver’s license necessary
