Job Title: Commercial Glass Installation Specialist
Location: Saint John, NB
Available Shifts: Full-Time, 7:00am - 6:00pm
Pay: $20/Hour

Commercial glazers play a vital role in the construction and renovation of commercial buildings, contributing to both the aesthetic and practical aspects of architectural design.

Advantage Personnel is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Glass Installation Specialist/Commercial Glazer to join our customer's growing and energetic team! As a leader in the glass installation industry, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and high-quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial glazing, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced workplace.

Responsibilities:
Installing glass products, including windows, storefronts, curtain walls, glass doors, and partitions in various commercial settings.
Replacing and repairing glass.
Working with aluminum frames and other materials to support glass structures.
Ensuring proper alignment, secure fittings, and effective sealing of glass installations to maintain structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.




Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations established by the company and local authorities, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act in New Brunswick.
Conducting thorough inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client specifications.
Maintaining accurate records of materials used, project timelines, and client communications.
Addressing any issues promptly and professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Candidate Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training or certification in glazing or construction is an asset.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools specific to glass installation.
Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in glazing.
Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and working at heights.
Solid problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to installation and repairs.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract is required, as travel to job sites may be necessary.
