We're looking for a dedicated and hardworking Carpenter to join our team! Preferably at least a 3rd or 4th year apprentice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, a solid understanding of construction techniques, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as framing, cabinetry, flooring, and trim
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans
Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and safely
Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on time
Maintain tools and equipment in valuable condition
Requirements:
3+ years of carpentry experience
Ability to work as a team and/or independently
Responsible, skilled, punctual, and reliable
An eye for a very high level of detail
Strict adherence to health and safety practices
Valid Class 5 driver's license preferred
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
Robust knowledge of carpentry techniques and building codes
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
