Based in the Mirabel facilities, the mechanical maintenance technician reports to the supervisor. He is a member of the Industrial Resources team which brings together more than 15 professionals dedicated to the smooth operation of all the infrastructure in the Mirabel plant. Travel is negligible.

Responsibilities

The mechanical maintenance technician is responsible for executing the maintenance plan, responding to service calls, and ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment by maintaining it in optimal condition

Missions

- Diagnosis and resolution of any malfunctions on equipment.
- Perform preventive and curative maintenance interventions.
- Fill in fault reports.
- Use a CMMS software. (Part search, plan, work range, etc.)
- Participate in fault analyses.
- Exchange and communicate with the maintenance team and different internal departments.
- Contact the technical services of different manufacturers, if necessary.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the machine maintenance department.
- Updating work ranges and electrical plans, in cooperation with the reliability engineer
- Updating lockout sheets.
- Participate in equipment updates and improvements.

REQUIRED PROFILE

College diploma in industrial mechanics,



candidate with 10 years or more of experience in a similar position
