The Royal Ontario Museum seeks an innovative Curator to manage North America's significant entomological collection. Your expertise will drive original research while enhancing public engagement through exhibitions and educational programs. This cooperative position works closely with the Department of Natural History to connect diverse audiences and enrich understanding of biodiversity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee stewardship of insect and arachnid collections
• Conduct collections-based research and publish findings
• Develop creative exhibitions and public outreach programs
• Mentor students, interns, and emerging researchers
• Build partnerships with universities and community organizations
Requirements:
• PhD in ecology, systematics, or related field
• Experience with natural history collections
