Lead the Hudson School-Age Program at Kitsilano Neighbourhood House, providing inclusive childcare for children aged 5-12. Your expertise in guiding children ensures a safe, nurturing environment.
As a Group Leader at Hudson Child Care, you will play a vital role in fostering the development of children in a collaborative team. Your responsibilities will include planning activities, implementing a structured curriculum, and establishing relationships with families. We seek dedicated, enthusiastic candidates who can thrive in a multicultural environment and maintain robust communication with both children and community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize indoor and outdoor activities for children
• Ensure safety and engagement during program hours
• Implement age-appropriate curriculum and field trips
• Observe children and address developmental needs
• Maintain clean, safe environments for children
Requirements:
• Valid Responsible Adult Certification or equivalent
• Minimum age of 19 years as per regulations
• Current First Aid Certification or ability to obtain
• Experience in inclusive group childcare preferred
• Criminal Record Check and current immunization required
