Key Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and skid steers
- Perform site preparation tasks such as grading, trenching, digging, and backfilling
- Transport materials and equipment around the job site
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and grade stakes
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance (fueling, lubricating, cleaning)
- Identify and report mechanical issues or safety hazards
- Follow all workplace safety regulations and procedures
- Work closely with site supervisors, laborers, and other trades
- Ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently according to project timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience operating construction equipment




- Valid operator certification or license (requirements vary by region)
- Knowledge of equipment safety standards and procedures
- Ability to read basic site plans and grade specifications
- Valuable physical condition and hand-eye coordination
