Qualifications

- Minimum5years of recent, hands-on experience in network administration, analysis, and design/architecture - DemonstratedexpertiseSpine and Leaf data center networks utilizing VXLAN with BGP EVPN, - Demonstrated experience designing, implementing andmaintainvarious routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP and OSPF, - Comprehensive hands-on experience with Cisco's suite of networking equipment, including switches and routers,Proficiencyextends to working with various Cisco CLI interfaces, encompassing IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS, ensuring comprehensive configuration and administration across multiple Cisco platforms.
- Comprehensive hands-on experience with Fortinet’s suite of networking equipment, including firewalls, switches, and access points, - Comprehensive hands-on experience with Fortinet security tools includingFortiManager,FortiAnalyzer, andFortiNAC - Demonstrated experience in configuring andmaintainingnetwork resources in Microsoft Azure including virtual networks, virtual network peering, route tables, Front Door,WAFand network security groups.
- Additionalexpertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), - Skilled in the configuration and management of load balancers and web application firewalls, - A deep understanding and implementation of network security best practices, - A proventrack recordin deploying network technologies within organizational technology projects, - Excellent collaboration skills within multi-disciplinary project teams, - A thorough understanding of enterprise-level networks and the integration of on-premises and cloud environments, - Additionalexperience with LTE and satellite communication technologies, - Experience with ITIL frameworks and Change Management processes, - Relevant experience in operating supervisory controls and data acquisition (SCADA) networks.
- Relevant job experience in North America with a provincial government, Crown or Oil & Gas Transmission company, or equivalent
