Join VON as a NSWOC Registered Nurse, part-time in Ontario’s Grey Bruce region. Apply your specialized skills in wound, ostomy, and continence care to improve client health outcomes. In this permanent role, your focus will be on performing comprehensive assessments and creating tailored care plans within a supportive interdisciplinary team.
You'll play a crucial role in educating clients and mentoring fellow caregivers, ensuring the highest standards of care are provided. Flexibility in scheduling (days/evenings) offers you the work-life balance needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments
- Implement individualized care plans collaboratively
- Mentor and educate clients, families, and staff
- Participate in virtual interdisciplinary consultations
- Lead care plan discussions with clients Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license in Ontario
- NSWOCC completion or equivalent education
- Preferred experience in community and acute care
- Solid assessment and teaching skills
