Job Description Uniban Canada, a part of the Driven Brands family of automotive aftermarket franchise brands, is a leading technology-based provider of automotive glass repair, replacement and ADAS calibration services for vehicle owners, fleets and insurance carriers. Founded in 1977, Uniban Canada also offers technology-enabled glass claims management services for insurance carriers.

As a Uniban Canada Glass Shop Manager, your job will include: Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, & training recent Glass Techs and Customer Service Reps
Creating employee schedules & submitting payroll
Controlling inventory: Conduct End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) inventory
Balance registers, close out invoices, and make bank deposits
Placing product orders and physically restocking inventory as necessary




Understanding the shop’s financials to drive results and utilize budget wisely
Conducting quarterly employee evaluations
Supporting other team members with duties such as responding to customers questions and repairing glass
Providing excellent customer service
All our Shop Managers need to meet the following requirements: 1+ Year(s) of automotive glass installation experience recommended
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to maneuver around vehicles to position yourself safely during installations
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
Capable of working any day of the week and work in hot/cold weather conditions
Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
Basic computer skills: ability to use a keyboard and a mouse to correctly collect and enter information into a point of sale system
Exceptional customer service skills
Attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members
Comfortable working in fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks to accomplish goals
Motivated self-starter who is willing to work independently and with teams
