About This Opportunity
The GLOW program is facilitated by a team of female mentors who play a crucial role in supporting the program’s mission to empower young girls. Mentors guide participants through discussions, creative and physical activities, and group exercises that promote leadership, self-awareness, and healthy living. Mentors encourage inclusive participation and respect, a safe and supportive workplace for open communication, and build positive, trusting relationships with participants. Resources and curriculum material are be provided.





Program is one hour/week for an 8-week term, with 3 program terms during the school year (fall, winter, spring).

Mentors will gain valuable experience working with children and youth and will make a positive difference in their lives. They will also build skills in program facilitation, leadership, education, collaboration, and communication.

Volunteer Requirements

Willing to undergo a background or police records check

Comfortable commuting to opportunity location

18 years or older
