Join SOS as a Volunteer Clothing Floater and play an essential role in our thrift shop. This position focuses on customer service and merchandising, enhancing the shopping experience.
SOS has served the District 69 community since 1968, thriving on volunteer support. As a Volunteer Clothing Floater, you'll assist customers, manage merchandise displays, and keep the shop workplace clean. Your vital contributions ensure customers find what they need in a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help customers locate items in the thrift shop
• Hang garments that arrive from the pricing room
• Return fitting room items to clothing racks
• Organize and display shoes on racks
• Collect empty hangers and maintain display areas
Requirements:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed
• Passion for community service and assisting others
• Training sessions will be provided for your role
