As a Radiation Therapist I, you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radiation treatments to cancer patients according to physician prescriptions. You’ll work under the guidance of a Radiation Therapist II in a fast-paced setting focused on patient care. This position is permanent, starting on September 15, 2026, at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer ionizing radiation treatments to patients
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists on treatment plans
• Keep detailed records of patient treatments and progress
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients
Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy required
• BLS-C certification essential
• Membership with SAMRT and CAMRT needed
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
• Experience in human relations and effective communication
