About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Shawarma Cook / Mediterranean Line Cook to join our team. We are seeking someone who has hands-on experience preparing shawarma and Mediterranean cuisine and can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen while maintaining excellent food quality and consistency.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook chicken, beef, and lamb shawarma.
Assemble wraps, plates, salads, and other menu items according to recipes.
Prepare sauces, toppings, and fresh ingredients.
Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner rushes.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements
Previous experience preparing shawarma or Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine is required.
Experience working in a quick-paced restaurant environment.




Strong multitasking and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating shawarma rotisseries and grills.
Experience with prep work, inventory, and kitchen organization.
Ability to communicate in English (additional languages are an asset).
