Duties
Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the facility and detect suspicious behavior
Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry
Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards
Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed
Perform loss prevention measures by observing for theft or vandalism and documenting any suspicious activity
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping




Enforce company policies and safety procedures consistently across all areas of the site

Qualifications
Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable
Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and best practices for deterring theft and vandalism
Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining a qualified demeanor
Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors
Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods of time in various environments
Certifications related to security or law enforcement are a plus but not mandatory
