This temporary role supports patients receiving treatment and requires expertise in oncology nursing and patient care coordination. As a registered nurse under the Patient Services Manager, you will provide essential nursing services, including medical assessments and treatments for patients at CancerCare Manitoba.
Your responsibilities will include assessing physical and psychosocial responses to treatment, offering support, and facilitating patient care within a multi-disciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing services for outpatient oncology patients
- Administer prescribed treatments and manage care plans
- Assess and support patients’ emotional and physical health
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals on treatment plans
- Document and maintain accurate patient records Requirements:
- Current CRNM registration and BCLS certification
- Proficient in computer applications and electronic charting
- Robust communication and organizational skills
- At least three years of experience in healthcare preferred
