Become a vital part of the Salvation Army team as a Food Service Worker I, delivering meals and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Engage with residents by serving meals and preparing food items.

In this role, supporting the Manager of Support Services, you'll work in meal preparation, serving, and maintaining hygiene in food service areas. Your responsibilities will include preparing dining areas, assembling snacks, and operating kitchen equipment efficiently while ensuring high cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up dining rooms for meal times
• Prepare and serve hot and cold meals
• Maintain dishwashing and kitchen cleanliness
• Assemble food items such as sandwiches and salads
• Provide catering assistance as required

Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 10 or equivalent training
• Certification in Food Safe Level I
• Positive communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized approach to tasks
• Physical ability to execute job responsibilities

Contribute to the warmth and efficiency of food service at the Salvation Army.
