Description
We are seeking a reliable, energetic Labourer who is ready to take on significant hours, including overtime, throughout our construction season. Raylec Power (Alberta) LP delivers roadwaylighting and traffic signal installation as well as specialized electrical repair & maintenance services.

What we offer:

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $23.00 to $28.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
Many opportunities for overtime during the construction season (OT +8hr/day or +44hr/week).
12.5% Stat and Vacation Pay.

What you bring:

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract




Previous experience in physical labour; construction or utility industry experience is preferred
Strong work ethic with a self-motivated, team-focused, and positive attitude
Experience in shallow utility installation (preferred)
The following valid certifications are considered strong assets: Traffic Control Person (TCP)
Occupational First Aid (OFA) Levels I, II, or III
Fall Protection

Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

This role involves a range of job duties, which include, but are not limited to:

Perform a variety of hands-on labour tasks such as digging, trenching, backfilling, lifting, material moving, landscaping, and general site clean-up
Safely use and operate construction tools and equipment (training provided)
Handle, organize, and store materials; maintain tools and equipment to keep the work site running smoothly
Support traffic control operations when required (TCP training available)
Carry out other related duties to support crews and project needs
