Make an impact as a Casual Youth Support Worker at PhoenixCenter. This role involves building supportive relationships with youth and young adults while attending to their immediate needs.
In the Youth & Young Adult Program, you will actively engage at-risk clients, supporting their transition into healthier lives. As a Youth Support Worker, your primary responsibility is to maintain clients' physical and emotional well-being, while collaborating with a dedicated team to implement care plans. You will also help organize recreational and life skills activities for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build trust and support youth in their daily activities
• Respond to clients’ immediate needs for food and clothing
• Facilitate meetings and coordinate activities with youth
• Manage case files and ensure documentation accuracy
• Conduct room searches during discharges
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and Community Social Service certificate
• At least one year of experience with youth services
• Clean Class 5 driver’s license required
• First Aid certification preferred
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
