Join Bentley Place as a Temporary Program Assistant and make a difference in clients' lives. Support their emotional and daily needs through a variety of hands-on care activities.
In this part-time position, you will work weekends to assist clients in achieving personal goals, improve their life skills, and maintain a secure environment. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be actively involved in client support and life skills development while ensuring compliance with care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide client feedback and progress reports
• Support activities of daily living, including grooming
• Conduct rounds for facility safety and hygiene
• Oversee engaging client-focused activities
• Collaborate with volunteers to enhance service delivery
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with diverse populations
• First Aid and CPR certifications necessary
• Certification in Community Social Service is essential
• Criminal records check with vulnerable sector screening required
