Reporting to the Business Unit Controller, you will be responsible for various administration and organization tasks related to the successful and efficient operation of accounts receivable and accounts payable within the team.
Duties & Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Collect rock quarry weigh scale tickets and generate invoices
Produce time and material invoices
Communicate with Project Managers to verify invoicing information such as job, equipment, materials, hours of work, etc.
Communicate with customers, follow up on payment approval status, or other required documentation and perform collection activities
Processing credit card payments
Set up customer accounts and access to quarry
Accounts Payable Data entry of accounts payable invoices
Matching purchase order to invoices and liaise with Project Managers on variances
Prepare and submit Intercompany and customer statements as needed
Assist with customer application process and credit card payments
Other Responsibilities Assist with month-end activities
Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, filing and record management, photocopying, mailings, or letter




Other administrative duties as assigned by the Business Unit Controller
Qualifications & Skills Degree or diploma in Business or Accounting is preferred
1 to 3 years’ AR/AP experience in a construction environment is preferred
Strong MS Office Software skills (primarily Excel and Outlook)
Experience working with an ERP system (Infor LN)
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent time management, prioritization, multitasking and organizational skills
Compensation The role is a permanent, full-time position with a typical starting salary range of $51,800 to $64,800 per annum. Variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
