Start your Arborist career with Davey Tree Expert Co. in Port Robinson, Ontario. In this in office role, you will work closely with Arborists, ensuring safety and order at job sites.

The Arborist Apprentice position offers full-time work and hands-on involvement in tree care. You’ll support tree crews, perform maintenance inspections, and manage tools while working towards becoming a Certified Arborist with Davey Tree's assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Control lowering ropes and assist tree workers with tools
• Manage traffic around work areas with warning signs
• Execute maintenance inspections on equipment regularly
• Cut, chip, and load wood and brush materials
• Complete job site cleanup to ensure safety

Requirements:
• Possession of a valid driver’s license for 5-ton vehicles
• Prior experience in arboriculture or horticulture preferred
• Aspiration to become a certified Arborist
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Team-oriented mindset with a desire to learn
