Develop your analytical skills as a Data Analyst Co-op Student with the Department of Health and Wellness in Nova Scotia. Engage in vital data management and reporting duties supporting health services.
Working under the guidance of the Manager for EHS Data and Accountability, you will assist in data collection, organization, and validation. This role provides exposure to health system performance monitoring, requiring keen attention to detail and a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Validate and document data for EHS performance reports
• Create accurate reports and dashboards for internal use
• Analyze and interpret data trends for service improvement
• Carry out background research on health programs and policies
• Help refine data documentation and reporting processes
Requirements:
• Current enrollment in a co-op program in relevant disciplines
• Experience with Microsoft 365 tools
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
• Background in data visualization tools like Power BI
• Interest in health systems and research projects
