Make a real difference as a Youth Support Worker at PhoenixCenter. This part time, permanent role focuses on building supportive relationships with youth aged 17-24 to guide them towards healthy adulthood.
In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help youth and young adults meet their goals as outlined in their care plans. You'll engage with clients, provide immediate support for their needs, and assist with daily activities, all while ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Your contributions will be integral in assisting clients as they transition back into the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome youth accessing services upon entry
• Engage with at-risk youth to build relationships
• Coordinate recreational and life skills activities
• Assist clients with daily activities and community access
• Maintain site cleanliness and safety
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• One year experience in community services for youth
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification preferred
• Food Safe certification required
