The YMCA of the National Capital Region is hiring a Youth Worker for its Back on Track program, dedicated to high school students struggling with school-related challenges. This full-time, contract position runs from September 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. You will employ your skills in youth intervention, communication, and community resource knowledge to support students aged 12-17.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and group intervention for students
• Facilitate workshops on social and behavioral issues
• Assist students with school assignments
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians
• Manage case files and enter data accurately

Requirements:
• University degree in youth work or related field
• 2-3 years in youth intervention
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Ottawa community resources
• Valid work permit and reliable transportation
