We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing physiotherapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physiotherapist.
Duties
Support physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for patient use
Educate patients on exercises and home care routines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy area
Experience:
Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
Familiarity with patient care procedures and medical terminology is advantageous
This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a healthcare setting, working closely with experienced physiotherapists to enhance patient well-being and recovery. Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.80-$18.00 per hour
