Overview

Mountain View Optometry is searching for someone to assist us in providing comprehensive eye care to the village of Nakusp. The ideal candidate would be interested in working approximately 2 days/week with increasing job responsibilities as their knowledge and experience grows.

Responsibilities
Reception: taking payments, and running insurance
Patient care: pre-testing, assisting the optometrist with exams, and data entry
Optical sales: lens measurements, frame adjustments, and providing product information

Qualifications
At least 5 years experience working in customer or health service
Previous experience in medical or optical setting is preferred
Commitment to maintaining a respectful work setting and exceptional customer service
Interest in continuing education
Ability to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail
